Margaret Hendrick has been practicing law for over 30 years representing clients in both state and federal courts. She started her career as a prosecutor where she successfully handled multiple jury and bench trials prosecuting criminal offenses. For the past 27 years Margaret has represented both private and public agency clients, including Cities, Counties, Special Districts and Redevelopment Agencies in the areas of land use, public agency law, environmental law, and insurance coverage. Margaret has successfully appeared before and negotiated complex land use and regulatory compliance standards with environmental regulatory agencies including the State and Regional Water Quality Control Boards and the Department of Toxic Substances Control. She has been instrumental in resolving complex multi-party litigation in federal courts including negotiating settlements on behalf of her clients with major oil companies such as Chevron, ExxonMobil, and Shell. Margaret’s experience with insurance coverage has also led to the recovery of millions of dollars of defense and indemnity coverage for her clients. Margaret has recently joined the team at Pacific Fire Attorneys as “special counsel” where she utilizes her 30 years of legal experience to ensure the victims of wildfires are fully compensated for their losses. Margaret obtained her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis.
