About

Dave Fox is a former federal prosecutor for the United States Department of Justice who has dedicated his career and his firm to help victims of wildfires and serious personal injuries. Dave is a leader in California wildfire litigation and courts have appointed him to the Plaintiffs Executive Committee for the 2015 Butte Fire litigation against PG&E in Sacramento, the Plaintiffs Steering Committee in the 2017 North Bay Fire litigation against PG&E in San Francisco, and the Plaintiffs Executive Committees for the 2017/2018 Thomas Fire and Mudslide litigation, and 2018 Woolsey/Malibu Fire litigation against Southern California Edison (“SCE”) in Los Angeles. Dave was also brought in as trial counsel in the Powerhouse Fire litigation against the City of Los Angeles, which ultimately led to an approximate $100 million recovery for all wildfire victims. Dave has had the pleasure to represent over 1,000 property and business owners harmed by fires.  He has been recognized by his peers as a four-time Super Lawyer and Outstanding Trial Lawyer. Dave has served as an Adjunct Professor of Trial Practice and is currently on faculty for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA).
