Butte Fire Litigation. The Butte Fire destroyed over 850 homes and 70,000 acres. Our team represented  individuals, businesses and other entities with losses due to the Fire.  Combined, we have recovered over $50 million for our clients.

 

In Re: Bastrop Complex Fire Litigation. The Bastrop Complex Fire was the most destructive in Texas history, scorching more than 340,000 acres, killing two individuals and burning down over 1,650 residences.

 

Powerhouse Fire Litigation We prosecuted the City of Los Angeles, Department of Water and Power for its responsibility in causing a wildfire and damaging hundreds of properties, including a school district, a water district, and summer camp.    Dave Fox was brought in to try the case on behalf of the first elder “preference” plaintiff.  The case resolved a few days before trial, and subsequently all cases resolved for approximately $103 million dollars.

 

In Re: Steiner Ranch Fire.  Chris Sieglock prosecuted the City of Austin Energy Company, Time Warner, and AT&T for starting the Steiner Ranch fire, which swept through the Steiner Ranch destroying multiple homes. The case was successfully resolved for $8.3 million.

 

In Re Mountain Fire.  Members of our team represented national insurance companies and individuals with losses over $30 million arising from the Mountain Fire, which occurred in Idyllwild, CA and destroyed over 45,000 acres.
Starbuck Fire. The Starbuck Fire ignited in March 2017 and is the most destructive fire in Kansas and Oklahoma History, burning over 650,000 acres.  Members of our team represent insurance companies and ranching operations with losses over $10 million.
